Live Music By:
MAD CADDIES | The Mad Caddies (or the Caddies) are a ska punk band from Solvang, California, United States. The band formed in 1995 and has released seven full-length albums, one live album, and two EPs. To date, Mad Caddies have sold over 500,000 albums worldwide. The Mad Caddies sound has influences from broad ranging genres including ska (especially ska 3rd wave), punk rock, hardcore punk, reggae, dixieland jazz, Latin music, polka, even cowpunk (“Crew Cut Chuck”) and sea shanties (“Weird Beard”
JELLY BREAD | Jelly Bread is Berry, singer-drummer Cliff Porter, bassist Brady Carthen and keyboardist Eric Matlock, whose addition last year solidified the lineup. All four contribute to vocals in this funk band in the flavor of Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, which it will open for June 1 in the Crystal Bay Casino. When Berry plays his lap steel, the band rocks in the vein of Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Porter and his uncle Carthen grew up playing in church and gospel is a big influence.
The Happys | The Happys are a bay area band composed of four twenty-something-year olds-playing dysfunctional Surf Pop-Punk/Grunge.
The Happys Acquired a reputation with their rowdy live performances. Since their 2016 debut album Trippin, The Happys have embodied a vulnerability, setting their honest painful feelings of addiction to a wildly joyful surf-grunge sound.
Formed in the Bay Area, songwriter Nick Petty grew up writing music his entire life. Starting his career after overcoming addiction, depression and incarceration, powerful even strange songs started to form. The outfit is completed by Guitarist, Alex Sanchez, Bassist, Brett Brazil and Drummer Ben Moore.
